IPA HISTORY & FACTS

The Interstate Pistol Association is one of the oldest and most comprehensive Conventional Pistol  "Bullseye" leagues in the nation.  The league was founded in 1936 to promote competitive pistol marksmanship and has operated continually since.  The current IPA League is comprised of eight teams and four ranges located within the twin tiers of NY and PA.  The league meets Friday nights from October through March, excluding holidays.  The league is sanctioned by the NRA and follows NRA Conventional Pistol guidelines.   New teams with safe and adequate ranges are encouraged to apply for admission.
